Become a Pilot
T8 Aviation offers flight training programs for the following single-engine certificates:
Private Pilot
The Private Pilot Certificate is the first step in any flying career. We offer training for those transitioning into airplanes from other aircraft as well as those that have never flow before!
Requirements
14CFR Part 61 Subpart E Covers the requirements to become a private pilot. Some of those are:

- Be at least 17 years of age
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate (or a military Class 1A flight physical)
- Log a minimum of 30-40 hours of flight time including dual instruction and solo flight
- Pass a knowledge test (if applicable) and a practical test
Commercial Pilot
The next step in a Pilot's career is the Commercial Certificate. We offer transition training for commercial pilots in other categories as well as for first time commercial applicants.

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate

Flight Instructor
As a Flight Instructor you'll be able to train others in all the things you've learned to this point. We offer transition training for instructor pilots in other categories as well as for first time commercial applicants.

- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Hold either a commercial pilot or airline transport pilot certificate
- Demonstrate flight proficiency
- Pass a knowledge test and a practical test
